Sheila Ann Janney, 70, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her home.  She was born February 3, 1951 in Dema, KY to the late Berlin and Subrina (Slone) Jones.  Sheila was a 1969 graduate of Wheelersburg High School and worked for several years as a secretary at the Ohio State House in Columbus.  Sheila was a member of the Red Hat Society, she was a member of several card clubs and loved being around family, especially her grandchildren.

Sheila is survived by a son, Jeffrey Janney and wife Lauren of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Meagan Sutton of Wheelersburg and Katy Gilliam and husband Eric of Henrico, VA; a brother, Ray Jones and wife Nancy of Grove City; a sister, Judy Moore of South Shore, KY; and five grandchildren, Kiera Gilliam, Maya Gilliam, Jack Janney, Ava Janney and Tyler Sutton.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James Janney; a brother, Mike Jones; and a sister, Kathy Wellman.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in Wheelersburg with Pastor Zack Conkel officiating.  There will be a gathering of family and friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
