Shirley Griffin, 65, of South Webster went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 24, 2014. She was born Feb. 4, 1949 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Lloyd Marler and Ruth Yarnell Roberts. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Hall and a brother, Raoul (Tuke) Marler. Shirley is survived by her husband, James Griffin of South Webster; 5 daughters and 2 son-in-laws, Angela Griffin and Dawn Griffin both of South Webster, Lynn and Randy Adams of Chipley, Fla., April and Nate Copeland of South Webster and Heather Jones of Zebulon, GA.; one brother, Scott Roberts of South Webster , 13 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Graveside services will be 12:30 PM Monday July 28, 2014 at Old Wheelersburg cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER.
