Stanley Marvin Kaltenbach, 80, of Portsmouth,formerly of South Webster, died Mon., Feb. 28, 2011 at Concord Health Center. He was born Aug. 21, 1930 in South Webster, a son of the late Stanley and Hazel Basil Kaltenbach. He was a former Chief Electrical Engineer and U.S. Air Force veteran having served in Korea. He is survived by his longtime friend, Helen Walker; two sons, Stanley Christopher (Cathy) Kaltenbach, Marvin James (Michelle) Kaltenbach; two daughters, Marlene Marie (Wayne) Machovec, Christine Lynn Kaltenbach; two sisters, Shirley (Roger) Generux, Helen Carol (Max) Samples; grandchildren, Jeffrey Machovec, Matthew Machovec, Melissa Kaltenbach, Gianna Kaltenbach and Samantha Kaltenbach. Marvin was also preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Marie Kaltenbach, his second wife, Barbara Louise Kaltenbach, a sister, Elizabeth Walker and grandparents, William and Louise Kaltenbach and John and Lucy Basil. Services will be 2 PM Sat., March 5, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Rev. Don Meadows and Rev. Frank Fenton officiating. Interment will be at South Webster cemetery with graveside honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Friday and 1 to 2 PM Saturday at D.W. Swick in South Webster.
