Age 56, of Portsmouth, passed away on March 7, 2015 at his home. He was born on July 26, 1958 in Portsmouth to Stanley and Etta (Litz) Adkins. Stanley spent his professional life as a proud member of the U.S. Military, retiring honorably from the U.S. Army. In his retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his dogs.

He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Stillwell of Wheelersburg; one uncle, Harry Adkins of Portsmouth; two aunts, Anna Cardenas (Arturo) of Portsmouth and Bonnie Perdue of Marietta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two aunts, Berdie Riley and Zelma Bennett.

A committal ceremony will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Grayson at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015. Military honors will be provided by the Kentucky American Legion.
