Age 64 of Wheelersburg, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home. He was born December 14, 1952 in Portsmouth to Ralph and Mary (Carley) Wolford. Stephen was a graduate of West Portsmouth High and received his B.A. in Social Work. He held a position for many years as a Social Worker for Job and Family Services. He was an avid and succssful hunter of arrowheads, enjoyed reading, and most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Sharon Wolford of Wheelersburg; daughter, Stacy (Andrew) Dodson of Wheelersburg; brother, Jody (Sherell) Wolford of Orlando, FL; sister, Sharon (husband Max Paul) Wolford of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Isaiah, Braden, Grayson, and Maxton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bethany Wolford and a brother, Jeff Wolford.
