Age 61, of Wheelersburg, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 16, 2014. He was born on July 16, 1953 in Portsmouth to Norman and Norma (Mays) Hutchinson. He was a 1971 graduate of East High School and spent many years working for The Standard Slag Company and Aristech Chemical Company. Steve loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors. He was a baseball fan and spent many years heavily involved in the Wheelersburg Little League.

He is survived by three sons, Brian Hutchinson of Portsmouth, Brad Hutchinson of Wheelersburg, Brandon Hutchinson of Sciotoville; one brother, Harold Hutchinson (Diana) of Sciotoville; three grandchildren, Lane, Landon, and Hannah; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Dan Widdig officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
