Tamela Marie Simmering, 61, of South Webster died Friday June 18, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vivian Lewis Simmering. She was a life long resident of South Webster where she worked in the family business until it closed in 2003. She then got a job at Kroger's in Wheelersburg where she worked until she had to retire in 2017.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two uncles, Ellis Lewis and a very special uncle Karl Simmering who was like a second father to her.
Tammy is survived by a special cousin, Linda Hoover. Linda helped her so much taking her to her doctors appointments and just being her friend. She is also survived by her many high school friends and her many friends she made at Kroger's. They were all like family to her.
Tammy met and became good friends with a cousin of hers in 2019, Wayne and Elvira Lands; last but not least her little dog Pumpkin
Tammy will be cremated with her remains to be buried along with her parents at South Webster Cemetery. There will be no public services. Arrangements are being handled by D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster. Online condolences may be sent to DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
