Terry Paul Douthat, 64, of Columbus formerly of Portsmouth died Tuesday Feb. 19, 2013 in Columbus. He was born April 27, 1948 a son of the late Ernest and Lula Huff Douthat. He was retired from the N & S Railroad and was a 1966 graduate of Clay High School. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Douthat; a son, Todd (Kristin) Douthat of Chicago, IL.; 2 daughters, Michelle Sorrell of Columbus and Christy (Stephen) Best of Columbus; stepdaughter, Laura Mathias; grandchildren, Shane Bays, Heather Bays, Devin Horn, Chloe Best, Alex Douthat, Andrew Douthat, Brittany Hurley and Erin Barnes and a great-grandson, Conner Jarrells. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Ratcliff and a sister, Lutrecia Ratcliff. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Saturday Feb. 23, 2013 at Obetz cemetery in Columbus.
