Thelma Fay Triggs Fields of New Lexington, formerly of South Webster, died, Sun., January 15, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born March 11, 1932 in South Webster, a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Jennie Fulk Triggs. Thelma is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Timothy) Coakley, Carolyn Summers; three grand-children, Marissa Dugan, Jessica Summers, Coln Summers; a sister Belma Slack; and a special niece, Wanda Estepp. She was also preceded in death on March 12, 2005, by her husband, Walter R. Fields, whom she married on June 23, 1957; three brothers, Wilber, William, and Charles Triggs; six sisters, Goldie Layer, Mildred Crabtree, Alma Triggs, Sylvia Triggs, Erma Triggs, and Mable Fraley. Services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Pastor Margaret Shope officiating. Burial will be at South Webster Cemetery.
