Thomas J. Phillips, 68, of Chardon, OH passed away Saturday June 24, 2017 at home. He was born October 5, 1948 in Matewan, WV, a son of the late Thomas and Grace Ison Phillips. He was a former laborer and loved fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Reese Phillips; sons, Thomas R. Phillips of Chardon and John A. Phillips of Sciotoville; daughter, Brandy Phillips of Chardon; brothers, Roger Phillips of Sciotoville and James Phillips of OK; sister, Janice Blevins of Williamson, WV; four grandchildren, Steven T. Belt, Roland A. Phillips, Lexie Rawlins, and Brantley McCormick. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Merlin Phillips and sisters, Maggie Hill, Genevieve Thomas, Loretta Phillips, Opal Jean Phillips, and Marie Hayes.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday June 28, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at South Webster Cemetery.
