Thomas Edward Wilson, age 40 of Wheelersburg, died April 4, 2011 at his home. He was born September 15, 1970 in Columbus to James and Judy (Hickman) Wilson and moved with his family to Portsmouth in 1978. Tom graduated from the Adult Basics Program at Shawnee State in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Amanda (Roe) Wilson of Wheelersburg; four sons, Donald, Wade, Michael, and Levi Wilson; mother and stepfather Judy Cheek (John) of Wheelersburg; father, James K. Wilson of Portsmouth; one brother, David Wilson of Portsmouth; one sister, Amanda P. Wilson of Sciotoville; grandmother, Opal (Hickman) Stebbins of Florida. He was preceded in death by one brother, James K. Wilson and grandfather, Donald Hickman. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Christ United Methodist Church in Sciotoville with Rev. Frank James officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sciotoville UMC community food projects.
