Tilden David Oliver, 55, of Eden Park, died Wednesday morning, December 2, 2009 at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth. He was born November 23, 1954 in Portsmouth to the late Eugene Oliver and Sarah Williams Oliver. Tilden worked for the state of Ohio as a computer analyst and later in Marion for a publishing company. He loved bowling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jacque Hemmings Oliver of Eden Park, a son, Shane Oliver of Marion, two step-daughters, Angel Pay and Cassie Whisman, both of Eden Park, a brother, Sam Oliver (Kerry) of Overland Park, Kansas, a sister, Judy Fetters (Larry) of Portsmouth, and a grandson, Isaiah Arnett. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2009 at the Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Fred Bales officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Franklin Furnace. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Wolfe-Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville is handling the arrangements.
