Travis Messer, 36, of South Webster, died Sat. Aug. 21, 2010 after a long illness. He was born Sept. 24, 1973 in Portsmouth. He was a South Webster High School graduate and loved automobile racing. He is survived by his mother, Linda Bettis Messer of South Webster; his father, Victor Messer of Minford; grandmother, Verla Hughey of Portsmouth; a brother, Nick Messer of South Webster and special friends, Don Carter, Adam, Denise, Luke and Emily Jordan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Albert Bettis Sr., aunt, Judy Bettis and uncle, Albert Bettis. Graveside services and burial will be 12:30 PM Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 at South Webster cemetery with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Visitation will be from 11 AM to 12 Noon Wednesday at D.W.
