Age 61, of Portsmouth, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2014 at his home. He was born on November 18, 1953 in Memphis, TN to Joseph and Frances (Teague) Ivy. Professionally, he was a building contractor specializing in the sale and installation of vinyl siding. For many years he owned H & I construction in Hernando, MS. In his spare time, Troy enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; two sons, Troy Mitchell Ivy, Jr. of Southaven, MS and Earl Evans of Lebanon OH; five daughters, Jasmine Ivy of Southaven, MS, Ashley Ivy of Southaven, MS, LaRhonda Hall (Bruce) of Sciotoville, Wendy Boxx of Lynx, OH, Rebecca Anderson (Stuart) of Hornlake, MS; one brother, Roy Ivy of Biloxi, MS; five sisters, Sandy Peterson of Biloxi, Vicki Hudson of Biloxi, Nina Underwood of Moscow, TN, Maryanne Ivy of Biloxi, Betty Dotson of Biloxi; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and David.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Wolfe – Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor John Baker officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
