Vaughn A. Malone, 91, of Twin Valley passed away Thursday July 15, 2021 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born April 26, 1930 in New Boston. He was the son of the late Pearl and Laura Malone.
He was a member of Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, a former U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from the N&S Railroad.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the most important thing in his life was his family. He is survived by six sons, Bruce (Donna) Malone of New Boston, Rick (Mona) Malone of Columbia Station, Steve Malone of Washington, DC, Scott (Kaye) Malone of Wheelersburg, Tim (Robin) Malone of Wheelersburg and Anthony (Natalie) Malone of Cincinnati; three daughters, Vicki (Dan) Sell of Brockport, New York, Janet (Dave) Barth of Chillicothe and Nancy (Tim) Cox of Ashville;  24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Malone, a daughter, Savonna Ruth and granddaughter, Kirstyn Nicole Malone.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday July19, 2021 at Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Brad Angus officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8 PM at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston.
