Velida Tackett Hall, 73, of Wheelersburg, went to be with her Lord on Thursday morning, April 16, 2009 at SOMC. She was born December 10, 1935 in Salyersville, KY to the late Cap and Alva Williams Tackett. She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family, going to flea markets, and enjoyed spending time with her dogs. She is survived by two sons, Tony Hall of Wheelersburg and Rick Hall (Brenda Gillispie) of Wheelersburg, a brother, William Dean Tackett of Leachburg, PA, and a sister, Viola Howard of Cleveland. Velida is also survived by two grandchildren, Gabbrielle Browning Hall and Nehemiah Shirkey. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Tackett and Ray Tackett. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday April 19, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace with Pastor Mike Lemon officiating.
