Age 69 of Marion, OH, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Marion General Hospital. She was born on May 29, 1945 to the late Nora Reo (Fredrick) and Richard Kinnison in Portsmouth, OH. On August 23, 1968 she married Chester Wilburn in Portsmouth. Vera was an active member of the State Street Community Church. She loved her dogs and to work her puzzles to pass time.

She is survived by her husband, Chester Wilburn; son, Ray (Julie) Wilburn; four grandchildren, Darrick (Kindell) Robinson, Joshua Robinson, Austin Robinson, and Dakota Summers; 2 great-grandchildren, Hayley and Hannah Robinson, all of Marion, OH; one sister; Louise Messer of Portsmouth, OH; and two brothers, Don Kinnison, and Dickie Kinnison of Portsmouth, OH, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Sparks and her brother, Ronnie Kinnison of Portsmouth, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m, Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Wolfe - Nelson Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Caudill officiating. Interment will take place Friday at South Webster Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 – 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
