Virginia Hagen, 88, of South Webster, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born March 18, 1923, in South Webster, Ohio, a daughter of the late Herbert and Clara Wells Willis. She graduated from the South Webster High School Class of 1941and she attended the Christ United Methodist Church. Virginia loved to sew, quilt, and bake and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by a son, Paul Hagen (Judy) of South Webster; a daughter, Beverly Haynes (Bill) of Jackson; two brothers, Chester Willis and Roy Willis, both of South Webster; four grandchildren, William Brook Haynes of Millville, KY, Brendi Burus of Jackson, Ryan Hagen (Jennifer) of South Webster, Jamie Hagen Rockwell (Jeremy) of South Webster; 7 great-grandchildren, Colton Lane Burus, Maddison Joest, Kennedy Haynes, Kahler and Elizabeth Rockwell, Paul Markus Hagen, and Rylee Hagen; and a special sister-in-law, Evelyn Hagen McCoy of South Webster. Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Hagen, a son, Mark Edward Hagen, a brother, Herbert L. Willis, and a sister, Dorothy Bellamy. Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Reverend Ryan Hagen and Jamie Hagen Rockwell officiating. Burial will be at South Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 and one hour prior to the service at D.W. Swick in South Webster. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
