Virginia Eileen McCoy, 83, of Dayton, formerly of South Webster, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 9, 1928 in South Webster, a daughter of the late Sadie Sr. and Vada Farley Ramsey. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #186. Virginia is survived by a son, Daniel Lee McCoy and wife Barbara of Dayton; a brother, Ted Ramsey of Dayton; four grandsons, one granddaughter; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard McCoy whom she married on Nov. 7, 1946; three brothers, Alfred, Sadie Jr., and Karl Ramsey; two sisters, Evelyn Vint, Helen Ramsey; three step-brothers, Harold, Clifford, and Charles Townsend; and two step-sisters, Pauline Brooker, Marge McManus. Services will be 2:00 PM, Sat., August 25, 2012 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Burial will be at South Webster Cemetery.
