Age 77 of South Webster, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 in Portsmouth.  He was born January 21, 1940 in Portsmouth to William and Millicent (Arthur) Holbrook, Sr.  Cam retired in 1988 as a professional truck driver for Schwerman Trucking of Ironton and Conley Trucking.  He was a long time member of the Teamsters Union.   In his earlier days he enjoyed hunting, but in his later years he took walks in the woods to enjoy watching nature.  Cam enjoyed camping with his grandchildren and family members and eating meals together around a bonfire.  People who knew him best always said his favorite hobby was talking.  When he got together with his sister Betty, it was always up for discussion as to who was talking and who was listening.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Cam is survived by sons, Brian (Sandy) Holbrook of Oak Hill, Aaron (Missy) Holbrook of Circleville, Cameron (Karen) Holbrook of South Webster; sisters, Helen Cook of South Webster, Betty Bloomfield of Springfield, Barbara Jane (Bob) Phillips of Columbus; grandchildren, Brandi (Sam) Messerly, Tia Holbrook, Travis Holbrook, Ashley (Frank) Locurto, Jerrad (fiancé Megan Flone) Vickers, and Cody Vickers; great-grandchildren, Katarina Messerly, Rilynn Vickers, Briana Stanley, Kagen Watson, Jailee Vickers, Braxton Vickers.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian, in 2007; twin brother, James Robert in infancy.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Pat Burnett officiating.  Interment will follow at South Webster Cemetery.  Friends may call Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Wednesday.  Online condolences may be left at www.DWSwickNelsonFuneralHome.com.
