Age 83, of Sciotoville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 1, 2019 at Portsmouth Health and Rehabilitation Center in Portsmouth. He was born November 21, 1935 in Portsmouth. He worked as an auto mechanic and carpenter and loved to read. He was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church in West Portsmouth.

He is survived by lifelong friend, Pastor Bob Stiltner; friends, Gail Sparks, Denise Ingles, Ida Knight, Ruth McGlone, and Juanita Boldman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Eldridge and Amy Eldridge.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at WOLFE-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in Sciotoville with Pastor Bob Stiltner officiating. Interment will follow in Batterson Cemetery.
