William "Bill" Hamm III

WHEELERSBURG – William "Bill" Hamm III, 64, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday May 13, 2024. He was born March 23, 1960 in Portsmouth, a son of the late William Hamm Jr. and Lula Mae (Thompson) Hamm.
He was a former insurance agent and a member of Wait's Baptist Church.
Bill was a graduate of Franklin University with a Bachelor's  of Science Degree. He enjoyed college sports and was especially fond of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was very proud of his wife becoming a Doctor.
Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy Hamm; a son, Will Hamm IV of Wheelersburg; a niece Brittney Gullion along with several cousins, friends and his church family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Inez Gullion.
Funeral Services will be 12 noon Friday May 17, 2024 at the D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME  in New Boston with Pastor Brent Saxton officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM Thursday May 16th and 11 AM to 12 noon Friday May 17 at the funeral home.
