Obituary

William C. "Bill" Masters, 84 of South Webster died Sat. June 11, 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born Aug. 25, 1926 in South Webster, a son of the late Perry and Louella Bocook Masters. He was retired from the Safety Dept. at Martin Merrietta, was a WW II U.S. Marine veteran and member of James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Debra Dement Masters; two daughters, Rita Bowman of West Chester and Jolene (Byron) Armbrister of Cincinnati; 3 step-daughters, Tammy (Kelly) Swartz of Adena, Tywanna (James) Irick of South Webster and Pamela (Mark) Griffith of McDermott; grandchildren, Michael (Alscia) Bowman, Tammy (Jason) Borow, Matt (Nicole) Armbrister; great grandchildren, Diylan, Ava and Liza and a step grandson, Terry Nunley; a step grandson, Terry Nunley and a nephew, Tom (Sue) Horner of South Webster. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Masters. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at D.W. Swick Funeral Home in South Webster with Pastor Fred Bales officiating. Burial will be at South Webster cemetery with military honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday 1 to 2 PM at D.W. Swick in South Webster.
