William Ellis McClean Jr., 87, of New Boston died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born August 8, 1925 in Toronto, Canada, a son of the late William and Olive Hurst McClean. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII and was an automobile mechanic. He is survived by his longtime companion, Judith Ann Simpson; a sister-in-law, Alice J. McClean of South Point and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded by a brother, Donald R. McClean Sr. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday June 28, 2013 at New Life Worship Center with Pastors Mike Gifford and Frank Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with graveside honors by James Dickey Post 23, American Legion. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
