William Penix, 60 of Sciotoville passed away Friday December 25, 2020 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born December 30, 1959 to the late Frank and Mary (Nichols) Penix in Baltimore, Maryland.  William liked walking, fishing and any other outdoor activity.

William is survived by three sons, Jonathan D. Penix of Portsmouth, Benjamin Franklin Penix of Michigan, Christopher Corey Morrison and wife Kelli of Franklin Furnace; four daughters, Myrakal Penix, Nikita Morrison, Anna Chenault, and Tiffany Sparks all of Portsmouth; two sisters, Gail Harris of Portsmouth and Kathy Penix of Florida; eight grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Morrison; a daughter, Rachel Penix; two brothers, Bobby Joe Penix and Keith Penix; two sisters, Cora Penix and Debbie Penix; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (WOLFE - NELSON CHAPEL) in Sciotoville where friends may call Sunday from 1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
