Obituary

William B. Sperry , 89, of South Webster, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013. He was born May 11, 1924 in Wayne County, West Virginia a son of the Late Dewey Sperry and Minnie Spurlock Sperry. He was Head Deacon at the Full Gospel House of Prayer. He is survived by his wife Pauline Marcum Sperry, five sons, Robert (Elaine) Sperry, of Columbus; William Sperry of South Webster, Franklin (Patricia) Sperry of Nitro, West Virginia, Homer Sperry of South Webster, Sylvester (Lorrie) of Portsmouth. Six daughters Brenda Sias of Akron, Minnie (Allen) Lee, Hazel Howard and Rhoda Sperry all of South Webster, Billie Sperry, Rosanna (John) Heinzman of Columbus. Three sisters Helen Gibson, Jean Sperry, Myrtle Sperry; six brothers Willis Kirk, Dewey Sperry, Robert Sperry, Carl Sperry, Arlan Sperry, Howard Sperry and many Grand-children, Great Grand-children and Great Great Grand-children. He was also preceded in death by a son Kenneth Sperry, two brothers Clarence and Lawrence Sperry, and one sister Hazel Buskel. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013 at D W SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER, with Pastor Bob Stiltner and Pastor Allen Lee officiating. Internment will be at South Webster Cemetery in South Webster. Visitation will be Sunday from 5pm to 8pm at DW Swick Funeral Home in South Webster and one hour prior to funeral on Monday .
