Willis Edward "Ed" Sparks, 70, of Wheelersburg passed away Tuesday October 26, 2021 at SOMC Hospice Center. He was born June 4, 1951 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Willis Sparks and Delores Sparks Howard. Ed attended Rubyville Community Church, loved Football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Bengals. He was a Nascar Fan, enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a real Jokester. He loved being around children and animals.

Ed is survived by his wife, Brenda (Williams) Sparks; a son, Willis E. Sparks II, wife Nicole and stepson, Ty Osborne all of Florida; daughter, Tammy Ward and husband Chris of Dothan, AL; brothers, Scott Sparks and Kima of West Portsmouth, and Jesse Howard and wife Stacey of Franklin Furnace; sisters, Kathy Royster and husband Mark of Kentucky, Tina Rice (Tim) of Wheelersburg, and Wendy Taylor and husband Terry of Cincinnati; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Steve, Rick, Tim and Dean Sparks.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday October 29, 2021 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville with Pastor James Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 AM to 1 PM prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
